URGENT: Coronavirus Precaution Announcement
In consultation with our Ministry and Pastoral Care Committee, Bridge City Friends Meeting will immediately discontinue all in-person gatherings of our faith community at our usual Sunday location, Architectural Heritage Center, 701 NE Grand Blvd., Portland, OR. This includes Meetings for Worship, Meeting for Worship for Business, Committee meetings, and all scheduled presentations for this month. When this threat lessens, we will announce our return normal schedule.
Please consult this site for updates and new announcements. This is obviously a very fluid situation, requiring constant vigilance and precaution. For more specific information or questions, please contact Nancy McLauchlan, Bridge City’s Clerk, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bridge City Friends Meeting meets for Worship each Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Architectural Heritage Center located at 701 SE Grand Ave, Portland, Oregon.
If you arrive after 10:30, please ring the doorbell and wait for someone to open the front door.
Enter on SE Grand.
Limited, unmetered street parking is available on Grand and on Alder between Grand & MLK. Bike parking is on the street. Public transportation options include TriMet bus lines 6-Martin Luther King Blvd. and 15-Belmont/NW 23rd, and the Portland Streetcar. The nearest TriMet MAX station is Oregon Convention Center, about 3/4 mile north.
The space is wheelchair accessible once you’re inside the building. One step and a landing separate the front door from the sidewalk.
Introductions and announcements end around 11:30 a.m. Many people stay until 11:45 or noon enjoying conversation and refreshments. Sometimes there’s an educational, social or business event right after Meeting for Worship. Check the calendar to see what’s planned, and consider joining in.
