Agenda for our Second Sunday Meeting on September 13, 2020
On September 13 we will begin to read about the Testimony of Stewardship in the Faith and Practice (pp 109 – 121.) Given our experience I expect us to be working here for at least the next four months.
In the “new” Faith and Practice Stewardship is approached in three separate sections:
- Stewardship as harmony with the creation
- Stewardship of resources
- Stewardship of self
Each of these sections has an introduction and its own set of quotations, advices and queries.
We will start with the introduction to Stewardship on page 109 and then move on into first section, harmony with the creation. We will proceed as we have — reading aloud, discussing and then picking up where we leave off the following month.
Please take a look at pp 109 – 11 and bring along any impressions, questions or openings that come to you as well as being prepared to read. If you have not looked at this part of the new version of the Faith and Practice you may be surprised by what you see.
Faith and Practice
Please prepare for this discussion by taking a look at the table of contents of our Faith and Practice and identifying content that might be of interest to you or that are unclear to you or that you think the meeting might want to consider. If you do not have a copy of the book you click here to view and download.
