Join a conversation about safety and policing in our communities.  This interactive course offers a chance to reflect on what it means to live in a culture which normalizes state violence and is focused on punishment and prison. We will spend 8 weeks learning about some of the issues of policing, hearing about alternative solutions that are being tried, and exploring how to best decrease violence in our communities. Abolishing our current criminal (in)justice system is not just an ending; it’s about building a different kind of world. There will be plenty of time to share our questions, insights, and experiences.  To register or for more information contact Kepper Petzing (they) at kporegon3@yahoo.comContent warning: material in the course covers violence and racial trauma.
