American Friends Service Committee, Friends General Conference, Friends Council on Education and Pendle Hill are joining together to offer a 10-month project to accelerate racial justice work among Friends.  There will be monthly sessions and two retreats between September 2021 and June 2022.  The organizations plan to host a community of practice (a group of folks learning and experimenting together) of 80 or so people from throughout the Religious Society of Friends, seeking racial parity and with substantial representation from LGBTQ and young Friends. “We envision a Quaker community that is continually dismantling white supremacy within the Religious Society of Friends, Quaker institutions, and beyond.”  For more details and a link to the application, go to

The Quakers uprooting racism coalition.  Apply by August 15 if possible (by Sept 1 at the latest).
