George Zeidan is the co-founder of Right to Movement, a Palestinian running group that uses running and movement to raise global awareness on Palestinian human rights violations restricting their freedom of movement. The idea for Right to Movement was sparked in 2012 in Bethlehem when George and friends wanted to organize a marathon but found it impossible to map the full 26-mile route without hitting obstacles. They used this barrier to organize a marathon which highlighted the limits on Palestinian movement. They write, “Right to Movement is not only about running. We change narratives. We promote positivity. We resist oppression. We make a difference.” Questions about this presenter should be directed to Brooke Greenburg
