Influencing FCNL Legislative Priorities

March 3, 2024 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Every two years, the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL) , our national Quaker advocacy organization, invites Quaker meetings, churches and individual Friends to give feedback about their legislative priorities. In conjunction with the Peace and Social Concerns Committee (PSCC,) on Sunday, March 3, from 1-2 pm, Barbara Segal and Joanne Warner will be co-facilitating a session to provide feedback on the priorities. PSCC will conduct their general business from 12-1 followed by the priorities discussion.

It will be a hybrid session and will be open to Friends from MMM and other Friends Meetings and Churches in Oregon. Please RSVP to Barbara Segal at if you plan to attend, you can request access to the Zoom link upon RSVP. This will allow us to get a sense of how many people are coming and to send you some materials that will help you prepare for the session. There will likely be a follow up session during the April PSCC meeting from 1-2pm.
