Help Host a Program On Quaker House

July 1, 2023 all-day

Evening of July 1st at Multnomah

The ultimate weapons of war are human beings. As a peace community, how do we reach out to and support those in the military facing an ethical crisis, suffering from moral injury, struggling with the fallout of a system based on violence – including suicide, mental illness, abuse, and domestic violence?

What about military personnel poisoned by ecological disasters at home and abroad? Quaker House provides counseling and support on these issues to U.S. service members and their families anywhere in the world. The Executive Director of Peace House will be visiting Multnomah Friends Meeting July 1st and 2nd. They are looking for a few more people to help with a program the evening of July 1st. They plan to reach out to all Friends in the metro area as well as peace groups. Sponsored by Multnomah Friends Meeting Peace & Social Concerns. Contact Kepper Petzing (they),, 503-284- 2068
