Every 2 years, the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL,) invites Quaker Meetings and individual Friends from across the country to provide input on their legislative priorities. This feedback is an integral part of the process of FCNL setting priorities for their legislative work. On March 3, from 7-8:30, the MMM Peace and Social Concerns Committee is holding a special called meeting to provide input to FCNL on their 2023-24 legislative priorities. Friends from MMM, Bridge City, and other Portland-area meetings are welcome to attend. The meeting will be held virtually on Zoom.
If you would like to attend or want more information, please contact Barbara Segal, she/her, at barbseg@gmail.com. We request that Friends review the FCNL statement of legislative policies before they participate in the March 3rd discernment session.
