Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon (EMO)’s 2022 Collins Summit, “Religious Trauma: Understanding the harm and supporting healing”
The Collins Summit will be held on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m., and will be offered as a hybrid event with the option to attend in person at a Portland metro area location TBD or online. The registration fee is $20; no charge for students.
The featured speaker will be Connie A. Baker, MA, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Portland, Ore. In addition to her private practice, Baker has been a counseling instructor at a local university, a seminar teacher, conference speaker, clinical supervisor, writer, trauma recovery specialist, and trained life coach. She is the author of “Traumatized by Religious Abuse: Courage, Hope and Freedom for Survivors.”
