BCFM Peace and Justice video for Black History Month

In honor of Black History Month – Peace and Justice 2nd Hour program on February 27th, will present a video of Rev. Dr. William J Barber II, co-chair of the Poor People’s Campaign. The original Poor People’s Campaign was started by Martin Luther King Jr. in the last year of his life. After his assassination, the Poor People’s Campaign, occupied the Mall in Washington DC for 4-6 weeks before being evicted by a large number of police.  Rev. Barber and today’s Poor People’s Campaign will be doing a march in Washington DC in June of this year. To learn more about Rev.
