Shalom in Divided Times: Can we create a just peace and real unity?
Date: November 18, 2020
EMO’s annual Collins Summit will use a virtual format to explore racial, political and social divisions. We’ll ask how we bring our whole selves to the table and stay engaged in light of our differences, not in spite of them.
The program will feature Lisa Sharon Harper, a prolific speaker, writer and activist. She is one of today’s leading voices on the topics of poverty, racial justice and transformational civic engagement. Also featured will be the work of the Common Table initiative, a groundbreaking collective of interfaith leaders in Oregon.
The cost will be $10 (scholarships available).
Registration will be available on EMO’s website by Sept. 21.
