Meeting for Business – February 2024
Feb 18 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

  • Following Meeting for Worship (10:15-11:15 a.m.) & Refreshments/Social time
  • All Members, Attenders & Visitors Welcome

This change is in support of those folks who usually gather at the Architectural Heritage Center.  Ministry and Pastoral Care has tightened the enforcement of the mask policy during this current surge of Covid infections.  Folks are not eating at the AHC and this means a long wait till after Meeting for Worship for Business.  This is a hard cross to bear for the hypoglycemic among us.

Talking with People Who Are Thinking About Suicide with Susan Marie
Feb 19 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

It’s hard to know what to say, just how to respond to people in distress. It is especially scary when you believe the person may be considering suicide. Suicide is preventable.  We’ll talk about dangerous myths, the best ways to ask about suicide, specific what-to-say-next if someone says “yes I am” to your question, and how to help the person get help.

The note packet will be screen shared during the presentation.

Everyone is invited to attend. No registration is necessary. Hosted by the Beacon Village Lunch Program. For additional information contact Kepper Petzing, or 503-284-2068.
